New features and cp on DS

CP is closed coz they are launching new features! shud be done by tomorrow.

Hello Penguins!

The team is ready to launch the new features!! Later today you’ll be able to login and try out the new features for yourself! The game will be unavailable for a little bit before the features launch, so you won’t be able to login.

But as soon as the game is up and running again, the new features will be available. If when you login again the features aren’t there be sure to clear your cache! Check out the Help Section of the website to learn how to clear your cache. 

 Here are some features you can look for as soon as they launch: 

• Server selection (this one you’ll notice when you’re logging into Club Penguin!)
• Penguin Mail (click the envelope on the top left screen to try it out)
• Player Card redesign (check out the sorting function!)
• Igloo background (This one just looks really cool!)

I’ll be sure to post as soon as the features are launched! Thanks for your patience and support throughout this project!

Club Penguin on the DS!!

Hello penguins! 

I am very excited to be the first to let you know about a very special project we’ve been working on! 

Ever since Club Penguin was launched, many of you have been asking and talking about a DS game and we’ve been listening. Here’s a bit of what you can look forward to:

I can’t get into too much detail but you might be wondering about the name ‘Elite Penguin Force’.  In the DS game you take on a special role as part of the Elite Penguin Force and solve mysteries that even Secret Agents don’t know about! 

That’s just the start! You’ll also be able to play some of your favorite mini games and earn coins and other rewards that can be uploaded into your Penguin account! 

I’ll have more info in the coming months. We’re hoping to have the game done by this holiday season so you’ll only have to wait a few more months!

Features ready to launch

Hello Penguins!

The team is ready to launch the new features we’ve been talking about. They are in the last stages of testing and plan to launch later this week! You’ll be the first to know as soon as I hear the exact day! 

When the features launch your help will be needed to login to Club Penguin, try everything out and, of course, to tell us what you think. If you find anything that’s not working, be sure to let us know. 

Here’s a summary of the features we’ve been talking about and what will be launched:  

• New server selection (recommended servers and buddies easier to find)

• Igloo background!

• Penguin Mail (sending and receiving postcards improved) 

• Player Card update (sorting items by category)

New features

sorry i haven’t posted for so long but cp has been planning on some awesome changes and this is wot they plan to do!

Hello Penguins!

Finding buddies faster than you can right now is really important. So the idea behind the new login feature is to help you find the servers where your buddies are quickly.

Here’s the new login design. Beneath it is the the current login you’re familiar with.

The new login shows you the servers you and your friends visit most frequently.  In the current system you have to choose a country and then choose from a long list of servers that you may or may not visit.

For those of you who really like to see the entire list of servers, you’ll definitely be able to do that too. But the default view will be grouped by servers you visit most with your friends–wherever you’re from.

As always let us know what you think and what else you’d like to see with a login feature.

Igloo update

Hello Penguins!

I know it’s been a little while since I’ve shared updates about the Club Penguin Improvement Project, but that doesn’t mean the work has slowed down.

Since my last post, the team has been working hard on squashing bugs and making changes based on all of your comments–I’ll fill you in on those details next week. In the process they decided to make an entirely NEW feature that we hadn’t planned on! I’m really excited to be sharing it with you because it’s something many of you have suggested in the past. And we all thought it made a lot of sense.

We’ve made a few changes to make your igloos look better than ever! Check this out:

Player Card Update

Hello Penguins!

Great feedback on Penguin Mail!

Here’s the new design for the player card. The idea is to make it easier and faster for you to find the item you want. 

The red X on the bottom right is a ‘clear all’ button. So when you want to remove all the items on your penguin you can just click that button instead of removing them one by one. 

I also just found out that the team is working on a similar update for the furniture inventory!

Let us know what you think and what you’d change.

Summer kick-off party!! (Sneak Peek) & Penguin mail.

Hello Penguins,

I promised last week to have more info about all the exciting stuff coming this summer in Club Penguin. There’s a lot to look forward to –> new parties, catalogs, missions, games and much more! But first thing I want to share with you is one of the events you’ve been asking about thr most: THE SUMMER KICK OFF PARTY!!! It’s happening very soon and i don’t want any of you to miss it! (Well duh no one will!) 

One of the parties we’ve heard you liked a lot was the Water Party from last summer so we thought we’d bring it back..all the best parts will be there and then some! here is a sneak peek of the ski village (Look at the bottom)

Water Party: Well if some of you don’t know about the water party i will tell you. Last year in June or July i don’t remember very well but right after the Summer kick off party a crab broke the glasses of the underground pool and the whole cave was flooding with water! Then cp came up with another awesome idea of having A WATER PARTY! it was realllyyy cool and they had pipes connected from the cave to other parts of club penguin. The dock has a rain disco and a tap! The coffee shop had a small pool and there we got our umbrella hats. The disco was cool and when we danced we splashed water! The snowballs were replaced with water balloons! it is great that cp is bring back the party because it was very eventful!

Recently cp has been planning a lot of changes to cp! some of the features are better log ins and worlds and also you can now send mails to ur offline frens! its a great way to catch up with those who hardly come online. here is what cp had to say about the penguin mail. it is said to be released in soon because they are still squashing some bugs!!

Hello Penguins!

I hope all of you who received the CPIP server test thank you item and are enjoying it! There’s been a lot of talk recently about the release of the new feature and i want to give you an update on all of them, but to make it easier, we’re going to focus on one per post.

First –> and the feature im most excited bout is Penguin Mail. A couple of weeks ago i talked briefly about an update to the postcard system. If you missed that post, you can check it out in the archives of this blog. (check it at www.community.clubpenguin.com/cpip) The team has been working really hard on this feature.

It will also be easier because you be able to send buddies a postcard even if they are not logged in, and you’ll also be able to delete and SAVE you mail!

More info will be given next week!

CPIP item (sorry bout the delay :P)

So the cpip item was finally out (phew) and it was added to our inventories!! woot it is an awesome red hard hat and when you put it on and dance it drills and people are saying its “the new beta hat” and at the moment its the hottest hat in cp and sorry to the ppl who haven’t got it because only testers shall receive it. Congrats testers and better luck next time to everyone else! you all should keep up with the updates more which means checking out my site more than before also check out the cp blog and u will never miss out again! anyway i don’t have pictures but im sure u have already seen the hats theyre all around cp and is a proud possession of the testers!

party sneak peak!!!

Hello Penguins!

Every month there’s a party in Club Penguin–this month the team has been working really hard on something we’ve never done before and it’s almost finished! I got a glimpse of the upcoming party (it’s medieval theme!) and I’m really excited!! I’ve never seen Club Penguin look so different! I posted something that the team has been working on so you could have a glimpse too.

The party starts next Friday May 16! I hope you can all join in!

In other news: The Stage was updated today with the 12^th Fish play. I totally forgot how much fun it was to dress up as a fish!! What is your favorite part? I heard some of you like taking your script and costumes to other places around Club Penguin and performing there. That’s a great idea!!!

Some of you may be wondering why the Switchbox 3000 isn’t a part of this play–I heard it could be used during the medieval party…

May Events and new features

Hello Penguins! We’ve already rolled right into May and I wanted to let everyone know about a few very exciting things happening this month. I can’t give it all away of course, but here are a few things you definitely don’t want to miss out on!

- A MASSIVE party!!! (more info later this week)

- New furniture catalog (I heard it will be related to the upcoming party this month!)

- Igloo contest!

- New puffle furniture!

- New books written by some of you! (READ MINE BELOW!)

- New features (I talk about this stuff in more detail on the CPIP site–check it out to find out about what’s currently being worked on! Go to www.clubpenguin.com/cpip and click the ‘Eye Scan 3000′. You’ll have to wait a few seconds to get through the ‘doors’.

For the past two years, we’ve been reading all of your ideas for improving Club Penguin and while the team was building new servers, they also got to work on some new features that many of you have been asking for. We may not have included all your great ideas yet, but with these new servers, we’re hopefully going to be adding a lot more of them!

The team is working hard this month to make a few new features ready for the end of May and we wanted those of you who are helping with CPIP to be the first to hear about them and share your feedback.

Over the next few weeks, the CPIP blog will be updated each week with info about one of the new features planned for May. Your input will be a huge help as the team will be working hard on the features.

These new features are different than the content released on a regular basis in Club Penguin like new games, rooms, parties or catalogs. The new features will help with communicating with your buddies and will improve the interface of a couple different functions.

My Essay

Hello this is the essay i entered for the competition cp was hosting. i didn’t post it before because idea’s could have been stolen

A Puffle in need is a puffle indeed

The day my puffle went on an adventure…sounds strange but yet so true. I won’t brag about my puffle who I call fluffy being an adventurous, strong or a brave puffle. Nor will I say that it’s the cutest puffle around club penguin but one thing I could say was that he was my best friend.

 

I still very well remember the day I bought fluffy. To my he looked like a yellow fluff ball that really needed a home and a friend…wait but so did I. So I bought it but little did I know that he would be the one to save my life afterward. Fun for me and fluffy was going camping in the forest. We went for camping every weekend so we did the same this time too.

 

“What a cheerful and bright day” I said looking out of my igloo window. “Perfect for a camp!” So I put on my camping gear, took my fishing rod and wore my favorite pin, which happens to be the ruby, and was all ready to go for a camp. Fluffy was thrilled and he took his gear and was ready to go. We went across the town to the snow forts, past the plaza and into the forest. We pinned up our tents near the rock and lit a fire. We sang and danced around the fire. Then we were exhausted so we went to sleep right away. The next thing I saw when I opened my eyes shortly was that I was in a huge pit, which was there because of the construction going on for the new stage. So I knew I had been sleep walking again.

 

I was frightened and I felt stupid and thought that I should have been more cautious. “Help me!” I cried. But no one could hear me because it was 4:00am in the morning. So I spent the rest of the night there hoping that somebody would find me. Fluffy on the other hand found me missing and looked all around for me, everywhere but the pit. He painted pictures of me and asked everyone if they saw me but they only said “No, Sorry I haven’t seen her”. Days passed and I was still stuck in the pit I was hungry, thirsty and not to forget muddy. “Groan” I mumbled. I had no hope left.

 

One day I woke up and saw a familiar yellow ball of fluff jumping on the top of the pit. I instantly recognized that it was fluffy and trust me I haven’t ever been so happy. “Woo hoo!” I shouted! Fluffy threw a rope at me and pulled me out. I went to my puffle picked him up and gave him a tight hug and said him that “Look’s like someone just had a little adventure”. Fluffy knew what I was talking about, as it was a real challenge for him to search for me. And I knew no matter what fluffy would always be there when I need him.

P.S Anyone who will criticise my essay i would love to see you try writing one.

Pirate party and other updates and mission video

Sorry i know i haven’t been updating much but here it is the most recent updates

the pirate party has started here are the items and the pins

Clockwork Repairs!

I solved the new mission..and Herbert and the crab are down to business again those creeps but we can still beat em anyway here is a guide for people who aren’t being able to solve the mission..this is a walkthrough but i will post a video later

Mission Guide
1) You talk to Mr G and learn about the mission then you look into the surveillance camera and see those brats Herbert and the crab stealing the pieces off the clock which makes all the clocks around club penguin go bonkers

2) Then u go to the secret HQ where all the gadgets are kept and u look around for a tube and u put it in ur inventory (Tip: this is near the plant that’s put for research)

3) Then u go to beach and u see a yellow penguin sitting on a throne made out of throne and u talk to him and he will tell you that the yellow puffle can make u anything if you give it a picture then after u finish talking to him you pick up the green bucket

4) Then you go to snowforts and you see two penguins playing with the snow target and then they will challenge you to a game and you have to win it to take the target back from them

5) After you win the game give the tube to them so that they can continue playing

6) You go to town and talk to Rookie the agent and take a poster from him (Read what he says carefully)

7) Then u go to Snow forts and talk to Rory and he will tell you about the broken watch and also take the bucket and collect snow and then u click on the clock

You go to the pizza parlor and you collect the music sheet

9) Then you click the piano and you play the piano how it shows on the music sheet then the yellow puffle will be your friend

10) Then u give him the poster and the snow u collected and he will make a gear for you then you put the gear in your inventory.

11) Then u go to the HQ and to the Invention cabinet and click it and the key for it is K E Y and then u take the electromagnet 3000 and put it in your inventory

12) Then u go to iceberg and you will see the spring frozen and floating in the water..u click on it with the magnet then u put it in ur inventory

13) Then u go back to the HQ and go to the gadget room and you first put the frozen spring on the test chamber and pull the red handle then u set up the fire tone and then again you click the red handle and then u remove it and then you put the gear and you let the snowflakes fall

14) Then u go to the clock and fix both the gears to the clock and then u finish the mission

This might not be very clear but when i post a video im sure u won’t have any more problems

Hello Penguins!

Last week I posted a sketch from the upcoming mission. Here is another one. The team is just putting the finishing touches on the new mission! There will be a couple rooms you’ve never seen in a mission before.

 

Make sure you’re totally caught up and have completed the past two missions (Secret of the Fur and Questions for a Crab)–these two have to be completed before you can play the new one.

 

In other news: I just heard about a NEW igloo design the team is working on! Many of you have suggested it in the past, so I think you’ll have lots of fun with it. The igloo will be released on Friday, April 18. Here’s a small piece of it.

Looks like cp is planning to bring in a garden for our igloos!! exciting!!!

March was a great month in Club Penguin and we’re not slowing down!  I was able to find out a few of things we’re working on for April that I couldn’t wait to share!

It’s that time of year again in Club Penguin! April Fools is just around the corner and the team here has been working non-stop on a party that will be full of all kinds of April Fools silliness! Every year we celebrate April Fools in a different way and this year is no exception. When you show up in Club Penguin between March 28 and April 2 things will be a little strange. Even the newspaper will have a bit of a twist!

I was able to grab a sneak peek of one room from the party. We’ve never done anything like it before in Club Penguin and I’m really excited about it. We would love to hear what all of you think about it!
